If you look closely you can notice a zig zag stroke over all of the surfaces. I used cad yellow, alizarin crimson and zinc yellow for the warm sections. The distant hill is cerulean blue with a light glaze of cadmium yellow to gray it.

Next, I'll add a glaze of blue to the yellows on the left gorge to push them back and some blue to the far kayaker to make him stand out from the yellows.
